How does self-registration work?

The administrator sets up a self-registration account and sends details of the account to potential users. 

Users can then log in to the MyAthens user interface where they will be asked to complete a simple form in order to create their personal account. When this is done, details of the new account will be emailed to the administrator responsible for the self-registration account, who will also be the administrator for the new personal account.
