Before registering, please check that your organisation does not already appear on the List of Athens organisations.
The first step is of course to contact us so we can discuss your needs. The registration process involves a simple registration form, a licence and agreement to the Eduserv Terms & Conditions.
Please note that Athens does not provide the data itself (journals, databases, etc.) but a secure and convenient method of access where institutional subscriptions to data services already exist. Individual level subscriptions are not currently supported.
After registration, the Athens Service Desk will set up an administration account to allow you to use our service and will be happy to talk you through any aspects of the service of which you are unsure. You may find the following documents useful:
