OpenAthens LA (formerly Athens DA)
OpenAthens LA provides organisations with a platform for managing and releasing identity data from their user directories to internal applications and external, web-based service providers. This authenticated identity data can then be used by applications and service providers to provide users with access.

Introducing OpenAthens LA 2.0
The first version of OpenAthens LA was a direct extension of the Athens technology (AthensDA). In Autumn 2009 we will introduce OpenAthens LA 2.0, which uses the same modular, platform-based OpenAthens core architecture as OpenAthens SP.
OpenAthens LA 2.0 represents a significant step forward in Identity Management solutions. It provides a unique set of administrator tools with which to easily install, configure, manage and control the access to and release of authenticated user identity data for access to applications and web-based services.
OpenAthens LA 2.0 is standards-based, easy to install, configure and manage and modular for flexibility. it will support Athens and multiple open standards and emerging technologies such as OpenID, SAML and CardSpace.
