Pricing

OpenAthens is offered as a flexible identity management solutions. Pricing is based on anticipated usage based on the full-time equivalent headcount of an organisation’s user base. This allows organisations to choose the appropriate combination of these OpenAthens components (MD, LA) to use to best meet their needs, without having to be concerned with cost implications.

This banded approach to pricing balances predictability for ease of budgeting with simplicity and flexibility. The following banded annual fees apply for 2009/10:

If you are a UK university or college the special annual subscription which runs from August 1 to July 31 each year has been created to provide access to all of the OpenAthens components, including OpenAthens MD and LA, at beneficial rates in line with the banding system used by the JISC.
