OpenAthens SP now launched!

Following successful trials, Eduserv are pleased to announce the production release of OpenAthens SP. This is a brand new platform designed to meet the needs of content providers (DSPs) in managing access from users belonging to Athens and other federated Identity Providers (IdPs). OpenAthens SP includes the latest Athens Agent software and incorporates a modular architecture making it easy to add new modules to adopt new standards (SAML, Shibboleth, OpenID etc) and new functionality.

The platform is available as a free upgrade for all existing licensed DSPs. The software and full documentation is now available to registered service providers in the DSP area on the Athens website.
