Background
The access and identity management environment is going through rapid change. Service Providers are faced with an array of proprietary solutions, new standards, new technologies and new federations. Making sense of the changes places a heavy burden on Service Providers.

Eduserv is now inviting all Service Providers to participate in the beta release program. To take advantage of the beta release, all Service Providers have been granted access to Eduserv’s Labs website at http://labs.eduserv.org.uk/aim/. There you will find the necessary instructions to download the software and documentation.
All you need is an Athens administrator account; if you do not already have one of these, you should contact the technical team responsible for maintaining your Athens implementation, as they will have the administrative access required to create a personal account.
All Service Providers participating in the program will be invited to a briefing on this exciting new development to discuss the new platform, what service providers would require from such a platform, and to see how a typical implementation might look. We will circulate the date and location of this briefing in the near future.
