Launch of upgraded Athens Administrator's Site

Eduserv is pleased to announce the launch of the upgraded Administrator’s Site. All pages in the administration site are now compliant with the latest web standards (XHTML 1.0), and they have been improved to enable greater flexibility for subsequent upgrades, but there will be few visible differences except:

• the Search interface now allows administrators to select users for deletion

• selecting the Bulk Upload item on the Housekeeping menu displays the upload form immediately

• there is an additional ‘Local authentication’ item on the Housekeeping menu for local authentication registration.

This release also includes click-through licences for all administrators, except those in NHS England for whom it has been deferred. On first entry to the Administration Site, administrators will be presented with a link to the appropriate Terms & Conditions for their organisation, and asked to accept or decline these terms. Administrators who decline the terms will not be permitted to enter the Administration Site.
