Subscription rates to OpenAthens for UK universities and colleges for 2009/10 have been announced. OpenAthens is a unique framework of products and services that provides access to online resources whether they are available via Athens or via Shibboleth within the UK federation.
OpenAthens is provided on a shared service model so all institutions who use its components contribute financially towards its operation and further development to meet their needs. This model provides the most cost effective way for many institutions to manage access to their online resources.
Pricing has been set according to JISC bands. Please note that institutions who have already elected to subscribe for three years will continue to be invoiced at the 2008-2009 rates in July 2009.
