Can the Athens service be used by anyone?

Yes, The Athens service can be used by anyone. The service is used by over 4 million users predominantly in Higher Education, Further Education and NHS trusts throughout the UK. It is also used by an increasing number of organisations outside the UK but the individual requirements of each country need to be analysed in order to identify the most appropriate Athens technology deployment (see the list of Athens organisations).
