How much does it cost?

OpenAthens is a shared service. All organisations who use the service contribute financially towards its operation and development to meet their needs. For users of the service, this model provides the most cost effective way to manage controlled access to online resources.

Pricing is split into packages for Service Providers (SPs), with services to which they wish to control access, and packages for Subscriber Organisations (SOs) whose wish to provide access for their users to the protected electronic resources that they subscribe to from Service Providers. 

Prices for Service Providers begin from £1,000 a year for a three-year contract, but please contact athenssales@eduserv.org.uk for a quote tailored to your projected usage.
