Public Sector

Eduserv's OpenAthens framework of access and identity management products and services enables public sector organisations to:

• manage the identities of employees, partner organisations and individuals
• control access of employees and other individuals - either from partner organisations or the public - to internal applications, electronic resources and other services as appropriate 
• provide individual users with a single set of credentials with which to access all of the resources to which they are entitled

These solutions based on the OpenAthens framework of products and services and the Athens service are already used in the public sector where it is important to access research journals, books and databases provided by a range of publishers.
